Why GIHF
Filling a Global Need
In a sector as interconnected as hydrogen, no single actor can succeed alone. As hydrogen activities expand worldwide, there is a growing need for an independent, scientific, non‑advocacy nonprofit that complements existing government‑led and industry‑led partnerships.
Stakeholders and the public increasingly seek neutral, unbiased information, transparent data, and accessible education to support informed decisions and strengthen public understanding.

GIHF (pronounced "jiff") provides this platform. Scientific, non-governmental, and non-commercial, advancing responsible innovation and education for the public good.
GIHF will
-
Foster collaboration and advance research efforts among universities, institutes, and mission-aligned organizations.
-
Create transparency through data, resources, and unbiased analyses.

-
Advance and coordinate education and training in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
